Areas of Support
These are some of the topics that my clients often ask to explore in our sessions. This is not an exhaustive list, so if you are wondering about whether it is something we can work on, please contact me for a free 15 minute consult
1
Grief & Loss
Unfortunately, there are many reasons in life for people to feel grief. Whether it's related to a death, illness, life transition, unexpected life trajectory change, breakup, or something completely different, it is valid and we can make a plan to work through it together.
2
Life Transitions
This can include a variety of things: new stage of life (going away to college/empty nest, retirement, etc), divorce or breakup, death of a loved one, new diagnosis of an illness. With each of these, there are layers of other challenges, and having support can help to manage and reduce distress.
3
Relationship challenges
We all know that relationships can be hard work, and support from a therapist can help things seem less hopeless. Some of the relationship topics I discuss with clients are: boundaries, conflict, desire discrepancy, introducing conversations about fantasies, exploring consensual non-manogamy and/or non-traditional relationship structures, etc.

2SLGBTQIA+ and Kink Affirming Therapy
As a member of the Safe Space Alliance and PFLAG resource databases, it is important to me that people feel safe when asking for and getting help. In my practice, I aim to provide sex-positive, trauma-informed and queer-affirming care. I believe that everyone deserves access to therapy (and other services) no matter your gender, sexual orientation or desires. I strive to offer a grounded place to come as you are and explore your thoughts, feelings and challenges. I prioritize nourishment (of the body-heart-mind-spirit), comfort, expression and growth, no matter who you are or who you love.
5
Sex Counselling
As mentioned above, I offer support with various sex topics such as desire discrepancy, decreased libido, painful intercourse, how to introduce kink or other fantacies into your playbooks ,exploring non-traditional/non-heteronormative relationship structures (i.e. monogam-ISH, open, straight up polyamory, comet partners, solo polyam, thruples and everythnig in between), etc.

It is important to note that I am NOT a sex therapist. There are lots of things that we can work on in therapy, but if specific sexual interventions are required, this is something that would need indepth consultation and most likely a referral to a certified sex therapist (which I would be happy to provide). If in doubt, we can have a free 15 minute consult to discuss whether this is somethnig we can work through together.
